Lithia Chrysler Jeep Dodge of South Anchorage helps BP Alaska raise 1.2 million for United Way

When BP wanted an incentive for employees to increase contributions to United Way, they knew a brand new 2013 Ram 1500 4 x 4 from Lithia Chrysler Jeep Dodge of South Anchorage would be the perfect vehicle for their Alaska staff. For this promotion, employees contributing to United Way had an opportunity to win the truck from our new and used car dealership in Anchorage, with proceeds of the raffle augmenting BP Employees' contribution.

The new incentive worked. In 2013, BP Alaska raised over $1.2 million dollars, and according to BP 's Phil Cochrane, "BP's employees show an incredible generosity every year during our United Way campaign. The truck incentive helped raise awareness to BP's community investment goals and Lithia Chrysler Jeep Dodge of South Anchorage's participation was a big part of that."
